Now that you have a daily cleaning routine we will explain the housework that I advise you to do twice a week.
Do the laundry: it depends on the size of your machine and how many people are at home, but at least two days a week doing laundry is advisable to not embed some spots and fine clothes stay clean. One day dedicate it to change and wash bed sheets, towels, bathrobes if you use them, dishcloths, tablecloths, napkins and kitchen aprons. Then wash a load of whites. While the washing machine is working takes the time to do other tasks.
Once the clothes are dry I advise you to iron them as soon as possible to avoid creasing. Remember some clothes is better if you iron them something wet. I recommend you iron twice a week.
Clean dust from furniture throughout the house including electrical appliances such as TV, DVD, Blue-ray, home theater, computers, laptops, printers, etc. Remember to always start from the top to down. If you have many ornaments and figures first pass the duster and then clean the furniture with a cloth and some cleaner product.
Then vacuum the floor, starting from the back of the house to the door, don’t forget to give a pass to the door mat, so avoid dirtying what you just cleaned. For low furniture and beds more useful perhaps you get the mop and remove fluffs that usually there are under theses furnitures.
First you have to up the chairs around the house to facilitate the passage of the vacuum and mop, up all obstacles as you can, as stools, puffs, etc, to make the greatest possible area free. Vacuum carpets and if you can roll up and set them aside out of the way.
I advise you vacuum and scrub on Monday, because if you usually spend the weekend at home or had guests certainly the floor will appreciate a good cleaning.
At this point I give you a tip: if you have terraces, laundry room or hanging yard sweep and all floors will be clean and won´t bring dirt to the house.
Open some doors and windows for air flow and scrub the floor with the mop, starting from the bottom of the house to the door, trying to finish in the kitchen and laundry room, to avoid footsteps. Rinse well mop and bucket and clean the mop or broom.
And on Friday, if not heavily soiled, simply sweep or mop and scrub the floor, so you'll have you house clean again for the weekend.
