Thousand and one uses of Amonnia III

In the Kitchen there are several applications that can be given to ammonia:

Fridge: to eliminate bad smells and yellow stains that eventually forms in appliances rub with a cloth soaked in diluted ammonia (in a bucket of five liters of water add four tablespoons of ammonia).

Dishwasher: occasionally add a couple of tablespoons to the dishes and it will help remove the opaque layer that is formed, restoring the shine to dishes and glassware. Also it helps to eliminate odors.

Hob: ideal for removing burned grease stains, and  it will be brighter. Ammonia is an alkaline chemical, so it does not damage the surface of the ceramic.

Oven: If after using the oven some liquid poured cover it with a cloth soaked in a bowl of water with a few drops of ammonia with the oven still warm. Leave it for 20 minutes and then pass a cloth. You can also leave the bowl with water and a few drops of ammonia into the hot oven for steam help to remove all dirt. Then just rinse with a clean cloth. This procedure is also useful in the microwave. Also it eliminates odors.

Tiles and cabinets with splashes of fat: grease stains are inevitable in the kitchen, to remove them prepare a mixture of ethyl alcohol, water and ammonia in equal parts, pour into a spray bottle and spray on the spots. Wait a minute and have a clean cloth. This mixture melts fat very efficiently and does not require rinsing, leaving shiny surfaces.
